MTR Custom now offers leather gun holsters to fit the Taurus 327 with a 2″ barrel and the 327 Defender TORO with a red dot optic mounted.
The Taurus 327 series of revolvers are part of their small frame revolver family chambered in the .327 Federal caliber. One interesting by-product of the .327 Federal is that a revolver chambered in this caliber will also fire other .32 caliber rounds, including the following:
- .32 H&R Magnum
- .32 S&W (not to be confused with the .38 Special)
The standard Taurus 327 is a double/single action revolver with a 2″ barrel. The 327 Defender TORO version features a longer 3″ barrel and also supports red dot optics using the Taurus TORO system.

Finding a gun holster to fit the standard Taurus 327 isn’t all that difficult, as this revolver is the same size as the Taurus 856 revolver series. However, finding a holster to fit a 327 Defender TORO model with a red dot optic mounted is significantly more difficult.
Luckily, MTR Custom has the molds for these two Taurus wheel guns and is offering just about every leather holster in their product line in a version to fit either of these Taurus models.
Holsters made for the 327 Defender TORO with a red dot mounted to the top of the frame include an optic cutaway in the leather to accommodate the red dot when holstered.
