On 1-28-14, Olin Company (who owns Winchester) issued a recall for 2 different lot numbers of Winchester M*22 ammo. This ammo is 40 grain 22 rounds with black copper plated bullets. Some rounds is these lots may be loaded with double powder charges. Winchester/Olin advises anyone to discontinue use of rounds from either of the two lots immediately and contact them about replacement rounds.
